Jillian's Celebration of Life

We will be celebrating Jillian’s life and saying our final farewells on the 24th February 2025 in St Helens (details and times below).

The after party/review will be at a fabulous venue that mum has been to watch me perform at many times, Jay Dees social (originally Black brook working mens) (details and times below).

All of us knew of my mums eye for detail, plus her fondness for fashion. Please if any one attending (either one or both services) if you can wear at least one item of any colour Red, Blue, Green,Yellow Orange, Purple anything!!.  Tie, blouse, dress, coat etc.

Its what she would have insisted on colours not just black. 

If anyone feels strong enough to say something at the service, then please get in touch with me.  Justineriddoch@yahoo.com. Maybe a personal memory of a funny story or encounter across the years or maybe perform a song?  Another option could be a famous poem or Limerick or one of her very own poems from her creative writing course.  I will have them printed out in advance and could send to you if you pick one.
We would love to hear anything you would like to share on the day as we have an hour at the service  or even maybe at the after party.

Myself, John and Corin will be saying a piece. (Unfortunately for you) I have inherited the same fondness for talking as she had, so sorry if I go on a bit. 

She worked and played with lots you over the years, creative, artistic people people (she loved you all SO much), so please feel free to suggest any tributes you would like to give. Its all thanks to her that  she gave me so much strength and confidence to become an professional entertainer myself.

It only seems fit that I set up my equipment after and we make this the party to end all partys. 

She did love flowers BUT more so, her phone is filled with screenshots of charities that she sent donations too, so I have added the ones I've seen to this tribute. So NO flowers please, if you wish, a donation to one of the above in her name to any child or animal charity if easier.

I've set up this site for all of those tech savvy.  You can leave us messages, stories, upload pictures and videos yourself, if you want to share. Or just leave us a message about how you knew her. Anything is welcome. Thank you so much in advance and hopefully see you all at one or both of the celebration farewell service or after party.
